We enjoyed our stay with you very much. The accommodation was perfect for
us and we really appreciate you letting us stay with our two girls.
It was so nice to be in the heart of Manitou Springs and within walking
distance of the shops and restaurants. Several of our friends have
asked us where we stayed and we have passed your information on to
them.

Gwen and Randy,
What a pleasure it was staying in
your beautiful bed and breakfast. We came up to celebrate our marriage and
have some quiet time after all the hustle and bustle of wedding day.
Driving into Manitou and finding the inviting victorian home was calming.
We had never been to a B&B before, so we weren't quite sure what to
expect. The outcome was great. We had a wonderful spacious room,
with a bed that was as comfortable as ours at home, and a private
bathroom. Breakfast aromas woke us to a wonderful treat in the morning,
and the company of our hostess (Gwen) was like staying with an old friend.
We had also purchased the romance package. We thoroughly enjoyed the
massage, homemade appetizers and the wine. We highly recommend your
B&B to all our friends. And we can't wait to see you next June for our
anniversary. Thanks to you for everything, we had a wonderful
experience.

Hi, Gwenn & Randy,
Thanks again for the wonderful accommodations, for your gracious
hospitality, for a comfortable environment in a resplendent Inn. Avoiding
hyperbole is difficult, as there are few places where a happy Inn joins its
Innkeepers in warm welcome. And what an unexpected bonus you both added to
my visit! Your knowledge of Manitou Springs' history, of the Rocky
Mountain area, of Colorado Springs, of Colorado, including its plains,
helped me to understand and appreciate my surroundings. The Avenue Hotel's
location, also, was a benefit as I could walk out the front door, stroll
down Manitou Avenue, choose from an array of eclectic shops and restaurants
or simply enjoy the Rocky Mountains.
Gwenn, your breakfast always was delightful, delicious and very filling.
Clearly, much thought and labor went into the wonderful breakfast(s), which
your Inn provides.
All of these extra benefits provided a well-rounded experience for the 4
nights I stayed at the Inn. And as you know, I will return.

Hello Gwen and Randy:
Just thought we would drop you a line to express our feelings about your
B&B
Opening weekend.
We ran late due to engine issues with our vehicle. A call to Gwen and Randy
and all was good. Calling Gwen is like talking to your sister. She comes
across the telephone very welcoming, and helpful. We stayed in the Ruxton
room, which is redecorated tastefully, with a brand new king bed. Our girls
stayed across the hall, in their own space. There was an additional day bed
in our room, had we wanted their 15 year old company for the time we were
there. We passed.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The meal begins with fruit, a freshly
baked muffin or surprise, and a wonderfully rich entrée. The coffee is on
early, and is pot never seems to empty.
Whatever you came to Manitou Springs for, the Avenue B&B is a great place
to
stay. Gwen and Randy are terrific hosts. If it can be done, they will do
everything they can to make it happen for you.
They arranged massages, checked schedules, and provided a wealth of
information to help us have the BEST time while we were in town.
