Fulfilling a long time dream of being an innkeeper, I started my dream-come-true here in Manitou Springs in 2003. Moving here from Fort Lauderdale, FL, I arrived in Colorado with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. My experience includes owning and operating a small residential rental property, and more than 10 years in the massage and skin care business - now all brought together under one roof. I look forward to sharing my home and love of Colorado with you.

Our wonderful old English sheep dog, born deaf, makes the perfect B&B pet. Although he possesses an overly friendly personality, his visits to the common areas are rare, and he does not go into any guest rooms.

David Jordan
Coming on board in November 2007, David brings his experience as a baker and inn keeper to the Avenue. Originally from California, David has always had an interest in living in Colorado. When the opportunity to join the Pikes Peak Ringers Handbell Choir, an auditioned community handbell choir based in Colorado Springs, came available he jumped at the chance and now hopes to make Colorado his permanent home. In addition to baking and handbell ringing, David is an avid computer programmer, hiker and Irish Bones player. When you meet him, ask him about his Caramel Pecan Torte.

We truly enjoyed our stay this weekend. You have a lovely place and more importantly, you made out stay extremely comfortable and relaxed. As she mentioned, this was my mother’s first stay in a B & B and she was delighted. My sisters and I all have prior experience with B & B’s and are pleased that we found such a wonderful host and beautiful place to spend our annual trip this year.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable and cozy. You have a wonderful place there. We loved the Christmas decorations as well. And, it's so convenient to everything. Everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed the breakfast on Sunday morning very much. We will definitely be back again. We will be happy to let our friends know about it, too.

It was a resounding success and your accommodations and hospitality were exceptional. Our retreatants are still talking about your wonderful breakfasts and your kindness in helping to meet their needs.

Cindy and I would have loved a massage, but felt that we needed to spend time preparing for the next circle. There just wasn't enough time to do it all. And yes, we will be back. Your B&B is magical and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to host our couple's retreat. We hope that Helene's this coming weekend will be just as wonderful as ours. We tried to leave good vibes in the hallways for her mother/daughter retreat!

On behalf of Michael and I, we both had a fantastic time. Also, thank you so much for staying up past your bedtime to get both of our massages in ... it was greatly appreciated. However ... it put us both to sleep and we never made it out to dinner. At least we had a fantastic breakfast the next morning, loved that stuffed French toast.
